What is Twisted Llama?

Twisted Llama Braided Works is dedicated to crafting beautifully hand-braided parachute cord creations. Every material I use is sourced from the USA, and each product is thoughtfully designed by me, ensuring a personal touch in every piece. I take great pride in delivering a product of exceptional quality—one that is both durable and capable of withstanding the harshest environments. Parachute cord, originally engineered for strength, lightness, and resilience, becomes even more robust and uniquely stylish when woven together with care. My creations are made to endure the elements—whether wet, muddy, tossed around, or exposed to the toughest weather conditions. Built to order, each piece offers my customers the opportunity to explore hundreds of vibrant color combinations, making every item as individual as its owner.

Who am I?

I’m a 22-year-old native of Wyoming, where I’ve spent my life immersed in the art of braiding and knot tying for nearly 20 years. This craft has been a part of me for as long as I can remember, with my father, a talented braider himself, as my first teacher. He was renowned for his braided horsehair, rawhide creations, and intricate silver work. Once I had mastered the basics of braiding and knot tying, I ventured into exploring my own creative path. Through books, tutorials, and videos, I honed my skills and began developing unique designs that set my work apart. By the time I was 11, I was selling my creations, showcasing them through the 4-H club, local fairs, and eventually set up a booth at the Green River Rendezvous in Pinedale, WY. Over the past year, I’ve seen significant growth in my sales and have been focused on formally building my brand, Twisted Llama Braided Works. As my business evolves, I continue to expand my craft and develop fresh, original products. One of my favorite parts of the journey is when a customer brings me a new idea, and I’m able to create something entirely new to share with others.
